Story
The nomadic tribes of The Wilds live much like the roaming packs of wolves they believe to be their ancestors. Among the seperate tribes peace is not common, except for one day each year, when the tribes meet to listen to their godly ordained spiritual leader, the Eldapriest.
This year, their Eldapreist has communed with the moon goddess Des'adar, who asked the tribes to protect Venterra from the invaders of the Mainland. Several tribes have pledged their support, putting aside their differences for their goddess, while others retreated back to their homelands. Among the loyal chieftains, Hisk Draknii has been selected to be the main militant leader of this undertaking.

Playstyle
The Packs needs to set up a defensive network of buildings and units early to thrive in the late game. They can perform more actions than the other factions during the game, allowing them to achieve multiple goals in a turn.
